Terms of use
The agreement between you and more.ws, written to be read rather than skipped. It covers how plans and payment work, what happens when a term ends, and the few things you may not point a link at.
Last updated 23 October 2026
The short version
- Plans run for a year and are paid in cash, directly with us. Nothing is ever charged through this site.
- When a term ends you cannot create anything new — but every link, QR code and page you already made keeps working.
- What you create is yours. We host it and serve it; we do not claim it.
- Do not point a link at malware, phishing or anything illegal. We will disable links that do, without notice.
- Deleting your account destroys your links and your click history permanently, and stops every QR code you have printed.
1. What this covers
more.ws is a link management service: short links, dynamic QR codes, landing pages, SMS-friendly links and the analytics that go with them. It is built and run by Asmar Pro.
These terms apply when you create an account and use the service. If you do not agree with them, do not use it. How we handle data is a separate page — the Privacy page — and it is worth reading, because measuring links means recording something about the people who open them.
2. Your account
You need an account to create anything. You are responsible for what happens under it, including keeping your password to yourself. If you think someone else has it, tell us and we will set a new one — we cannot read the existing one, because passwords are stored as one-way hashes.
Give us a real email address. It is how we identify your account and how we reach you about your plan.
One account owns one workspace. Everything you create — links, QR codes, pages — belongs to that workspace, and the allowances on your plan are measured against it.
3. Plans, payment and activation
Plans are yearly. Every price and every allowance runs for a full year from the day your plan is activated. There is no monthly option anywhere in the product.
Payment is cash, arranged directly with us. This site has no checkout, no card fields and no payment provider behind it. The sequence is:
- You request a plan from the pricing page or your dashboard.
- We confirm it with you and agree a price. It may differ from the listed price if we agreed something with you — that agreed figure is what applies.
- You pay us, in person, outside the application.
- We activate the plan from our side, and your year starts.
Activation and payment are separate steps on purpose, so a plan can be switched on before the money changes hands, or a deposit taken and the balance settled later. Requesting a plan does not activate it, and nothing you do on this site can charge you.
We record every payment we receive against your account — amount, date and any reference — and you can read that history at any time on your billing page, along with the price agreed for each term and anything still due. You cannot add to it: it is our record of cash actually handed over, and it would be worth nothing if either side could write into it freely.
4. When a term ends
Expiry never breaks a link. This is a commitment, not a side effect. Every short link, QR code and landing page you already created keeps resolving after your term ends — a poster on a wall or a message already sent does not stop working because a renewal is late.
What expiry does stop is creating new ones. If your plan included analytics and the plan you fall back to does not, the click data stops being visible as well, though it is not deleted.
Allowances reset when a new term starts. They do not roll over — an unused allowance from last year does not add to this year's.
5. What you may not do
A short link hides where it goes, which is exactly why it gets abused. So:
- No malware, no phishing, and nothing that imitates another company or person to mislead the people who click it.
- No spam — do not send links through channels the recipients did not agree to.
- Nothing illegal under the laws that apply to you or to us, and no material that sexually exploits children.
- No showing one destination to us and a different one to visitors.
- Do not attack, overload or try to break into the service, and do not automate it in a way that degrades it for anyone else.
- Do not resell more.ws as if it were your own product without agreeing that with us first.
We can disable a link or an account that breaks this, without notice, because the harm from a phishing link is done in the hours it takes to discuss it. We would rather talk to you first and usually will, but we are not obliged to.
6. Your content
The destinations you point at, the pages you build and anything you upload remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
What you give us is the permission needed to actually run the service: to store your content, to serve it to people who follow your links, and to show it back to you in your dashboard. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload — images and logos included.
7. Short codes and links that stop working
You can choose your own back-half where it is free. Some words are reserved and can never be claimed, because they are paths the site itself needs and a link using one would be permanently unreachable.
A short code is not permanently yours: delete the link and the code can be used again by someone else later. If a code matters to you, keep the link.
When a link has been deleted, it answers with "410 Gone" rather than a plain "not found" — a small thing that lets a scanner or a crawler tell the difference between a link that never existed and one that has been retired.
You can also set your own expiry date, a maximum number of clicks, or a password on a link. Those are your settings and we do not override them.
8. Availability
We work to keep redirects fast and up, because a link that does not resolve is worse than no link. But this is a small service on shared hosting, and we do not offer an uptime guarantee or service credits. There will be maintenance, and occasionally there will be faults.
The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses — missed sales, reputational harm and the like — arising from an outage, a mis-measured click or lost data. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Ending your account
You can ask us to close your account whenever you like.
We can also close an account that breaks section 5, or one that has been inactive with no plan for a long time. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms will change as the product does. When they do, the date at the top of this page moves, and the change applies from then. Continuing to use the service after that is how you accept the revised version.
If you have a question about any of this, ask us directly — that is how everything else here works too.
